Those of you who are fans of A.R. Rahman’s music will enjoy the soundtrack to “Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities”. I’ve literally been enthralled by those tracks.
I hate those names they give to Indian films nowadays: like an Indian name and the colon and the English subtitle. I don’t think it explains or adds anything to the film as such. I like the original title of this film, which is featured as a song on the soundtrack. It’s called “Do Kadam Aur Sahi”, which loosely translated, means “Walk a few more steps with me”. Oh well. If they think the English title is going to sell, who am I to say anything? The soundtrack is the only thing I’ll be looking forward to. Any (good) thing else in the film will be a pleasant surprise.
